Are Sanctions Hurting Russia?

While subsequent packages of sanctions against Russia are being created in Europe, making exports and imports more difficult, there are countries that benefit from this situation. One such country is Türkiye. Many goods go from the EU to recipients in Turkey, who then sell them to Russia. No one will prohibit resale, just as no one will refuse to sell to Turkey. A classic proverb where two people fight.

It would seem that 2014 was militarily easier for Russians than 2022 was, but economically it was the other way round, as Russia's economy could not yet take sanction blows so well back then as it would be able to do eight years later:
